About pricing
Can I use niyase for free?
Yes. The FREE plan lets you use all desktop and mobile features entirely locally. Only if you need cloud sync or sharing across multiple devices should you consider the PRO plan (¥780 / space / month) or higher.
What are the differences between plans?

What happens if I exceed the API limit?
There is no metered billing. Responses gradually slow down (throttling), so it is designed so that your operations do not stop.
What is the billing unit?
Per space. The number of accounts and members is free and unlimited.
About data
Where is my data stored?
- Desktop / mobile: encrypted SQLite on the device
- Cloud: a tenant-isolated DB on Google Cloud (Tokyo region)
Can I use it offline?
Desktop and mobile work fully offline with all features. The cloud version (browser) requires being online.
Can I back up my data?
Yes. For details, see Backup and restore.
What happens to my data if I close my account?
It is physically deleted after a 30-day soft-delete period. It can be recovered within that period.
What if I want to erase my data completely?
niyase organizes data ownership into three layers: "space," "account," and "device." Choose the procedure that fits your goal.
- Want to erase only a specific space → Space settings → Data management tab → "Erase everything" (erases the entire DB of that space)
- Want to clean up login history on this device → Avatar menu → "Manage account"
- Want to erase all of niyase from this device (transfer / sale / disposal) → see the per-platform steps below
- Web (cloud.niyase.com): the browser's "Delete all site data," or delete the browser profile
- iOS / Android: uninstall the app (the OS erases it automatically)
- macOS: uninstall the app + delete

- Want to reliably make the entire device clean → we recommend deleting the OS user / a factory reset. This also clears traces such as browser cache and OS indexes all at once. In MDM environments, follow your IT department's procedures
niyase does not provide bulk operations above the space level (such as resetting the entire device). It is designed so that data ownership layers are clearly separated as "space = niyase" and "device = OS," with each managing only its own abstraction. When you want to reliably make a device clean for transfer or disposal, combine this with OS-level operations.
About accounts
Is account registration required?
It is not required for offline use on desktop / mobile. Cloud sync and multi-device use require signing up.
Can I use multiple accounts on one device?
One device = one local profile. You cannot use multiple accounts locally at the same time. With the cloud version (browser), you can switch using separate browser profiles.
I forgot my password
You can send a reset email from "Forgot your password?" on the login screen. If you have registered a passkey, recover using passkey authentication.

Which OSes are supported?
- Desktop: macOS (Intel / Apple Silicon) / Windows 10 or later
- Mobile: iOS 16+ / Android 10+
- Cloud: the latest versions of Chrome / Edge / Safari / Firefox
Can sole proprietors use it?
Yes. It can be used regardless of size or industry. For sole proprietors there is also a personal space (up to one per account).
