Sign up (create an account)

Cloud version

1. Go to cloud.niyase.com
2. Click "Sign up"
3. Register with an email address + password, or with a Google account
4. Click the link in the confirmation email to activate

Desktop / mobile version

You can start using it right after installation without logging in. When you decide you want cloud sync, register from Settings → Account → "Sign up."

Data you have already created locally is kept as-is.

Log in

You can log in with a passkey (recommended), a Google account, or email + password. Passkey is shown at the top of the login screen — on a supported device, a single tap with fingerprint or face recognition is all it takes.

• Passkey: enable it from Account settings → Security → "Add a passkey"
• Two-factor authentication: supports TOTP (Google Authenticator, etc.)

Log out

• cloud / desktop: avatar menu at the bottom of the sidebar → "Log out"
• mobile: account icon at the right end of the bottom bar → "Log out" in the account shelf

What happens when you log out:

• Cloud version: the session is discarded and you return to the login screen
• Desktop / mobile: local data remains after logging out (equivalent to having cloud sync OFF). Logging back in resumes sync

Relationship between local spaces and cloud spaces

When you log in, spaces that exist locally and spaces that exist in the cloud are not merged automatically. By default they are kept side by side as separate spaces.

To promote a local space to cloud sync, do it explicitly from Space settings → Sync → "Start cloud sync" (this uploads the space along with its existing data).
