Troubleshooting
Steps to diagnose common problems such as the app not starting, sync not working, or being unable to log in.
The App Won't Start
Desktop
- Quit once and restart
- End any leftover processes in Activity Monitor / Task Manager, then restart
- Reinstall the app (your data is retained)
- If it still does not resolve: send the logs from
~/Library/Application Support/niyase/logs(macOS) or%APPDATA%\niyase\logs(Windows) tosupport@niyase.com
Mobile
- Fully quit the app and restart
- Update the OS to the latest version
- Reinstall the app (caution: local data will be erased, so back it up first)
Can't Log In
| Symptom | What to do |
|---|---|
| Password not accepted | Send a password reset email |
| Email not arriving | Check your spam folder; allow the domain @niyase.com |
| Two-factor code not accepted | Check your device's clock sync / use a backup code |
| Passkey not responding | Check your OS biometric settings / log in with another method, then re-register the passkey |
Sync Isn't Working
- Click the sync status in the app bar to view details
- Check your network connection
- Space settings → Sync → "Retry sync"
- Check whether the relevant space's plan has changed to FREE (FREE cannot sync)
- If it still does not resolve, check the error records in the audit log screen and send them to support
My Data Disappeared
- First, don't panic — open the same space on another device to check (if cloud sync is ON)
- You can identify deleted records from the audit log
- The local DB may be recoverable, so stop the app and contact
support@niyase.com(do not perform any operation that overwrites the DB)
Printing / PDF Looks Broken
- PDF: Update to the latest version, then regenerate
- Printing: Check with the preview function → instead of browser printing, we recommend the in-app "Save as PDF → Print"
Error Code List

SYNC_003 | Conflict | Merge manually on the history screen |
STORAGE_001 | Storage limit exceeded | Delete unneeded files or upgrade your plan |
PLAN_001 | Operation blocked by plan limits | Check your plan |
