Personal space (documents, family, health, housing, civic)
How to use the Personal Info (important documents), Family, Health Records, Properties, Repairs, and Civic menus of a personal space — the tabs, the fields, and what each screen can and cannot do.
What a personal space is
A personal space is a space just for you.
- You can have one per account, and you are its only member (there is no way to invite anyone else)
- Its data is completely separate from your business spaces — nothing in a personal space is visible from a business space
- For creating and switching spaces, see Spaces
This is not the same as "My Page" in a business space. My Page in a business space shows you as an employee of that company (working conditions, performance reviews) and is covered in HR (employees, recruitment, reviews). This page covers records that have nothing to do with your employer.
The household budget, assets, tax return, and contracts menus are covered in Personal finances (budget, assets, tax return).
Menus covered on this page
| Category | Menu | What it opens |
|---|---|---|
| My Page | Personal Info | Important documents (Identity / Government / Qualifications) |
| Family | Family | Family / Emergency contacts |
| Health | Health Records | Medications / Doctor visits / Checkup results / Exercise / Meals |
| Housing | Properties | The Properties tab of the Housing screen |
| Housing | Repairs | The Repairs tab of the Housing screen |
| Civic | Civic | Politician notes / Voting records / Community |
- "Personal Info" opens the important-documents screen. Despite the name, it is not a profile form — there are no fields for your name or address there. Your display name, name, address, and avatar are set in Account
- "Properties" and "Repairs" are the same screen. Both open the Housing screen with the corresponding tab selected
- Every menu has a Guide tab. Once you have read it, hide it with the button at the bottom of the tab. You can show and hide tabs from the display-settings button to the right of the tab bar (the setting is stored in your browser)
- Some option lists (relationship, property type, repair category, emergency contact type, election type, community type) are shown in Japanese even in the English interface
Personal Info (important documents)
This menu collects copies of the paperwork that tends to scatter. The tabs are Identity, Government Documents, Qualifications, and Guide.
All three tabs work the same way. Cards for the most common document types are laid out, and clicking an unregistered card opens the dialog with that type already selected. Anything not on the list is added from the "Add another…" tile at the end. Registered cards are edited and deleted from the ⋮ menu in their top-right corner.
| Tab | Cards on the tab |
|---|---|
| Identity | My Number Card / Health Insurance Card / Pension Handbook / Driver's License / Passport |
| Government | Residence certificate / Family register / Seal registration certificate / Tax payment certificate / Income certificate / Notification card |
| Qualifications | Bookkeeping / Financial Planner / Real Estate Transaction Specialist / TOEIC / IT Passport / Forklift Operation / Hazardous Materials Handler / Health and Safety Manager |
The fields are type, name (required), number, issue date (acquisition date on the Qualifications tab), expiry date, and notes. The Identity dialog also offers types that have no card of their own: Residence Card, Disability Certificate, Student ID, Employee ID, and Other.
If you fill in an expiry date, documents close to expiring get a badge.
| Tab | Badges |
|---|---|
| Identity | Expired / Expiring soon (within 3 months) / Within 1 year |
| Government, Qualifications | Expired / Expiring soon (within 90 days) |
- There is no way to attach a scan or a PDF of the document. The screen keeps the information on the document — name, number, dates
- Numbers you enter are shown in full, never masked. Keep that in mind when someone is looking at your screen or when you share it
Family
The tabs are Family, Emergency contacts, and Guide.
Family
Your family members are listed as cards. Add one with "Create" at the top right, and edit or delete it from the ⋮ menu on the card.
- The fields are name (required), relationship (required), date of birth, dependent (a checkbox), and notes
- The relationship choices are self, spouse, child, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, sibling, and other
- Members marked as dependents get a "Dependent" badge on their card
- There are no fields for income, whether you live together, or disability status
Emergency contacts
Your family doctor, your child's school, and anyone else you might need in a hurry are kept in a table here. It is a separate list from the Family tab.
- Add one with "Add contact"; edit and delete from the ⋮ menu on the row (right-clicking the row opens the same menu)
- The fields are name (required), type, phone number, email address, and note
- The types are family doctor, emergency hospital, school, workplace, relative, neighbor, and other, each with its own color
- The keyword box searches name, type, phone number, email address, and note together. The list is paginated 10 rows at a time
Family members registered here live only in this personal space. They are separate data from the dependents registered in your employer's business space, and editing one never changes the other.
Health Records
This menu keeps doctor visits, medication, checkups, exercise, and meals in one place. The tabs are Medications, Doctor visits, Checkup results, Exercise, Meals, and Guide.
Health information deserves careful handling. You are the only member of your personal space, so you are also the only one who can read these records.
| Tab | Fields |
|---|---|
| Medications | Medication name (required), dosage, start date, end date, prescribed by, notes |
| Doctor visits | Department, hospital name (required), visit date (required), doctor, diagnosis, treatment, next appointment, cost, notes |
| Checkup results | Checkup date (required), next checkup date, provider, results, notes |
| Exercise | Date (required), duration in minutes, activity, notes |
| Meals | Date (required), meal type (breakfast / lunch / dinner / snack / other), calories, notes |
On every tab you add records one at a time and edit or delete them from the ⋮ menu on the card.
- Medications: medication whose end date is empty or in the future gets an "Active" badge. The "Scan QR" button currently only tells you that the feature is being prepared
- Doctor visits: tiles for internal medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, orthopedics, dermatology, pediatrics, psychosomatic medicine, and OB/GYN are laid out; clicking an empty tile creates a visit for that department. Filling in a next appointment adds a "Next" badge and a count of upcoming appointments at the top
- Checkup results: results are recorded as free text. There is no way to attach a PDF of the checkup report
- Exercise / Meals: only the number of records is shown — there is no total duration and no daily calorie total
Properties and Repairs (Housing)
This screen holds information about your home. Both "Properties" and "Repairs" in the sidebar open it. The tabs are Properties, Utilities, Repairs, Moves, and Guide.
Properties
Register your home, a rental, or a second residence. Add one with "New", then edit with the pencil icon and delete with the trash icon on the card.
- The fields are type (rented / owned / company housing / other), property name (required), address, contract start date, monthly cost, and notes
- Each card shows the type, the monthly cost, and the contract start date
Repairs
Record renovations and equipment repairs. Adding, editing, and deleting work exactly as on the Properties tab.
- The fields are property (optional), category (equipment / interior / exterior / plumbing / electrical / other), repair date (required), cost, vendor, and notes
- If you pick a property, its name appears on the repair card
- When any record has a cost, the total is shown above the list
Valuing real estate as an asset belongs to the assets menu described in Personal finances, and copies of lease agreements belong to Personal Info (important documents) above.
Civic
The tabs are Politician notes, Voting records, Community, and Guide.
Politician notes
A place to jot down what you notice about politicians you care about, so you can read it back when it is time to vote.
- Add an entry with "Add note". The fields are the politician's name, what you observed, the date, their party, their district, the level (national / prefectural / municipal), and a reference URL. The name and the observation are required.
- You can write about the same politician as many times as you like. Each entry is one observation, and the newest appears first.
- No politician data ships with the app — you type the names yourself, and they are stored exactly as you write them.
Voting records
Keep a timeline of the elections you voted in.
- Add one with "Record a vote". The fields are vote date, election type (national / local / referendum / other), election name, voted for, reasoning, and notes; the vote date, election name, and who you voted for are required
- Records are listed newest first. There is no way to edit or delete a record from the screen — you can only add
Community
Register the neighborhood associations, volunteer groups, PTAs, and similar groups you belong to.
- Add one with "Add community". The fields are name (required), type (neighborhood association / volunteer / PTA and school / NPO and civic group / other), role, joined date, activity frequency, and notes
- The trash icon on a card deletes it. There is no way to edit an entry after registering it
About your data
- Data in a personal space stays inside that space and is never read from a business space
- You are the only member of your personal space, and there is no invitation feature
- For how data moves between your devices and the cloud, see Sync; for keeping copies, see Backup
- The show/hide setting for tabs is stored in your browser, so opening the app on another device or browser starts from the default tabs
